I've posted six clips from the Thames Salsa Cruise on Sunday May the 8th. It was the first salsa boat trip on the River Thames this year.
It was great to see salsa dancers having a really relaxed time in a party atmosphere and to see the sights of the river Thames while dancing salsa.
I've put the clips in a play-list for easy-er navigation.
We have made several changes this year:
We have started the season late due to The Royal Wedding, Easter and the London Marathon but the weather was perfect for an evening boat party.
We now leave and return from Festival Pier on the South Bank near Waterloo Station instead of Westminster Pier on the North side by the Houses of Parliament. This is easier to get to and gives us far better facilities around the Royal Festival Hall.
Many regulars noticed that the DJ Felicidad’s decks are at the other end of the dance floor and there’s now an open area on the dancing deck where salsa dancers can go outside and chill.
